For an exciting time of rides and arcade games, the Las Vegas Mini Grand Prix Center can’t be beat. You buy tickets depending on how many rides you want to go on, and then for each ride you hand over the relevant number of tickets – some of them cost a full ticket, others cost less! This is great if you’re on a tight budget for your Vegas family vacation. There are size restrictions for riding on some things alone, so if your little one is under the permitted height, they go free as long as you go with them. There’s also arcade games, and of course a number of different grand prix based rides. There are few kids, even teens, who won’t have a blast trying to outrace dad on the Go Kart Road Race!

The Las Vegas Natural History Museum: a Dinosaur-lovers Dream

For kids who love dinosaurs, the Las Vegas Natural History Museum is another great way to spend a morning or afternoon. Not only can your kids learn about different natural environments, they can have fun in the interactive room where they can take part in fossil digging, learn about animal tracks, as well as coming face to face with the 35ft long T-Rex. One museum that has awards for being one of the best that Vegas has to offer is the Lied Discovery Children’s Museum. The museum has a fascinating display of exhibits where your kids can get hands-on fun with such things as fixing a car. Younger kids will love the toddler water table – so be sure to bring some extra clothes to change as they’re bound to get wet! This museum is all about teaching about arts and science in such a fun way that your kids won’t even realize that they’re learning anything – but when these same subjects are introduced in the classroom back at school, they’ll remember what they did on the Las Vegas family vacation and will be able to apply their knowledge to their studies.

More Great Things to Do with Kids in Vegas

Don’t forget to do the rounds of the more famous Vegas hotels on the strip. There are plenty of great things to do with kids at Circus Circus, for example, such as see the circus acts or go the Adventuredome, so you don’t have to move far off the strip to give your kids a great time.
